LED lights are excellent for illuminating artwork due to minimal heat and UV radiation emission.

Color

Opt for high-CRI sources to accurately represent artwork colors (>90 CRI). Choose warmer temperatures for coziness, and cooler ones for modernity.

Intensity

Illuminance recommendations: max 5 fc for light-sensitive artworks, 20, 30 fc for others.

Optic & Light Beam

Utilize a precise optic and beam diameter based on the size of the artwork to make it the center of attention. A larger wall display benefits from even, uniform wall washing.

Angle

A 30-degree incidence angle is ideal. A 25-degree incidence angle accents art texture with subtle shadows. A 35-degree incidence angle suits a larger art piece.
